1. Local Market Adventure

Prof. Erik Mobrand (SNU contact person for WP2 & mentor for WP1) will lead. When the tour is over, shuttle buses will pick up the participants.
Shuttle buses will drop the participants near the entrance of the market, which is close to our campus (but not walkable). Participants for the number 2, 3, and 4 will remain seated and get off at the SKERIC Week venue, GECE.

2. Voices of Korea: An Insightful Journey through Korean Literature

Young Eun Jang (Faculty of Liberal Education, SNU) will give a light lecture on Korean modern literature for about an hour (10:30~11:30).

3. Crafting Tradition: Hands-on Experience with Korean Artisanship

Room 516 (max. cap. 15) * Application is now closed, but it is welcome to join the class as an observer.
Cultural heritage repair technician will be invited to give a 1-hour class on crafting a NAJEON CHILGI (Mother-or-Pearl) art on your own. The history of NAJEON CHILGI (art that originated in Korea over 2,000 years ago!) and its recent evolution into modern contemporary art will also be introduced.
All the tools and materials will be provided. You don’t have to bring anything other than your creativity and desire to have fun! Dedicated time for photos is also included to capture your precious moments and piece of art!
Those who chose to not attend any of the activities can stay in the Room 512.
